# LinkedIn Actions Data Changes

> Output fields added, deprecated or no longer returned by LinkedIn actions, newest first.

Fields that LinkedIn actions return change over time, mostly because LinkedIn changes the endpoints behind them. This page records those changes so you can tell whether a field you depend on is still there.

<Info>
  Every entry is a change to what an action **returns**. Nothing here is a change to how you call it — for request parameters, endpoints and behaviour, see the [Changelog](/v1/changelog/overview).
</Info>

<Update label="2026-08-20" description="Truncation flags on Extract LinkedIn People">
  **Added:** `has_more_experiences`, `has_more_skills` — optional booleans on [Extract LinkedIn People](/v1/api/actions/linkedin-extract-people), indicating that more entries exist than were returned.

  They are omitted when the corresponding section is not requested. Integrations that validate responses against a strict schema need to accept both.
</Update>

<Update label="2026-07-30" description="Company identifiers and logo on experiences">
  On [Extract LinkedIn People](/v1/api/actions/linkedin-extract-people):

  **Added:** `company_logo_url` on each entry of `experiences[]`. It is empty when no logo is available, and it is not returned at the root of the profile.

  **Added:** `past_linkedin_company_id` at the root of the profile.

  **Now populated:** `linkedin_company_id` on entries of `experiences[]`, where it was previously often absent. Entries whose company URL is not a `/company/...` URL — schools, for example — are not enriched.

  **Changed:** `linkedin_people_post_search_url` now falls back to `linkedin_profile_id` when no Sales Navigator profile ID is available, instead of being omitted.
</Update>

<Update label="2026-07-09" description="Names on Extract LinkedIn Profile Viewers">
  **Added:** `first_name`, `last_name` and `full_name` on [Extract LinkedIn Profile Viewers](/v1/api/actions/linkedin-extract-profile-viewers). Previously only `headline` and the profile identifiers were returned.
</Update>

<Update label="2026-06-22" description="profile_image_url deprecated on Sales Navigator company">
  **Deprecated:** `profile_image_url` on [Extract Sales Navigator Company](/v1/api/actions/salesnavigator-extract-company). It may be removed in a future release — do not rely on it for new integrations.
</Update>

<Update label="2026-05-27" description="Fields no longer returned on Extract LinkedIn People">
  **No longer returned:** `birth_date`, `linkedin_thread_id` and `connected_at` on [Extract LinkedIn People](/v1/api/actions/linkedin-extract-people). The fields remain in the response schema but are omitted or `null`.
</Update>

<Update label="2026-04-28" description="Canonical linkedin_profile_url">
  **Changed:** `linkedin_profile_url` values no longer carry `miniProfileUrn` query parameters. Every Edges action now returns the same canonical URL shape, so profile URLs can be compared and de-duplicated directly.
</Update>

<Update label="2026-04-01" description="Search Sales Navigator Metrics superseded">
  **Deprecated action:** `salesnavigator-search-metrics`.

  Use [Search Sales Navigator People Metrics](/v1/api/actions/salesnavigator-search-people-metrics) instead. The old name is still accepted as an alias, so existing callers are not broken, but it should not be used for new work.
</Update>

<Update label="2026-03-12" description="headline deprecated, use summary">
  **Deprecated:** `headline` — retroactively, on Search LinkedIn People, Search LinkedIn Company Employees, Search Sales Navigator People, Saved Search Sales Navigator People and Search Sales Navigator Company Employees.

  Use **`summary`**, which contains the profile summary. `headline` was a naming mistake and no longer carries the data.
</Update>

<Update label="2026-01-15" description="page and token deprecated on live endpoints">
  **Deprecated:** the `page` and `token` parameters on 38 live-mode endpoints, in favour of cursor-based pagination. Both still function, and both are removed from the documentation. Follow `X-Pagination-Next` instead — see [Pagination](/v1/runs/pagination).
</Update>

<Update label="2025-11-17" description="Company fields removed from experiences">
  **No longer returned:** `company_employees_range` and `company_industry`, inside `experiences[]` on [Extract LinkedIn People](/v1/api/actions/linkedin-extract-people).

  LinkedIn changed the endpoint behind this action and removed both fields. They were never visible in the LinkedIn interface.

  **Use instead:** [Extract LinkedIn Company](/v1/api/actions/linkedin-extract-company), which returns company size and industry.
</Update>
